That's just a longer CAI (cold air intake) rather than a SRI (short ram intake)

but when you bought it, did you think you were getting a CAI or an SRI?

also, type properly, its "there" not "dere"

there should be no diff between the two models

    there is no "better"

SRI has better top end, crappy low end torque, but has better response.

CAI- has better down low, bit laggier response, but provides coolest air.

GSI and VTIR are not the same when buying a intake system

GSI pipe should be a bit longer than the vtir piping

because the vtir motor with dual stage IM, the tb sits lower then and GSI\Type r motor

So yes there is a difference between the two, but with little modifying you can fit the gsi cai in your vtir
