Best I've seen with my 91 CB7 was 6.5L per 100km on an interstate trip. This is at close to legal speeds (i.e. not much over...), with two people and luggage, and occasional AC use.

Car is manual (with Motul synthetic gearbox oil), engine more or less stock (except for home made cold air intake), front and rear toe at zero, tyre pressures at 42psi, driving both at night (cool) and day (quite warm to hot). Strangely, I seem to get better economy when my wife is travelling with me...

Around town, Accords seem fairly thirsty for a four cylinder. This would be mostly because it's a relatively large capacity four cylinder, and a relatively heavy car. Once at speed on the hwy you're not having to continually accelerate all that mass up to speed as you have to constantly do in town, and the body is fairly good aerodynamically.
