R1s are pretty high up in terms of performance

there are of course better tyres u can get....

but yeh....i dont know if u can find something as good for a cheaper price really....u can def find as good and better for a more expensive price, thats easy

but cheaper..highly unlikely, unless u want to go for a no name low quality brand tyre

I have used the Sumitomo HTR200 on my dc2r is the past and were a good tyre all round, not very noisy like other hard compound tyres. Nice tread pattern is always good and werent too pricy, only problem is i cant find anyone anymore who stocks them. Any ideas?? Would like the 205/50/15s. If anyone knows where i can find em that will be great also. But my hunt continues, if you can find them theyre highly recommended after using many tyres

I had for 2 years Goodyear F1 gs-d2 on 185-60-14. Very quiet, excellent grip on wet roads, but not so good on dry. Very soft compound and not so hard framework making it more susceptible to high temperatures and overheating. Excellent braking though.
I had them replaced with some Coopers XTC 185-55-14. The offered a lot better grip on dry, more confidence when cornering due to shorter profile, and better wheel response (though a bit lighter sensation). A lot inferior on wet.

These days i am waiting for my Yokohamas S-drive on 185-55-14. Hope they turn out better! price 350e for 4.
