    if you do that paperclip thing with the service connector and your car has no problems what code or blinking would it show?

    yeah it shows voltages, etc... all scan tools do it... seen a few in the flesh. it's only really a neccesity if you have nothing else to spend your money on... makes things easier like calibrating TPS and seeing if any of ur sensors are rooted.

    but such tools as these won't be as accurate as using the good old multimeter directly to the sensor because it depends on the quality of your wiring/grounding.. BUT.. i'd imagine OBD2 vehicles being newer won't be as affected by this?


    since OBD is a standard.. makes me wonder if theres a generic one for a GTR and any of the current/future cars... hhmmm OBD3 maybe??

    oh yeah beeza.. why bother with eBay when dealextreme does free shipping worldwide? you can get it for AU$100 with bad exchange rate....

    but their free shipping takes a while but even if you paid for EMS its only like US$15 coz its only coming from China instead of the US.

    I assumed all OBDII cars would have this port.. guess not.. so just check if you do before you buy the above...
