Correct! You need the front forks that match the coilovers you are going to use. So if you go EG then make sure you have the EG forks. The ED, EG, DA suspension is all very similar but the forks are different on each.

For the rear lower control arms vary only in that the normal ED ones don't have the mounting point for a swaybar. This can be substituted with the DA lca's which does have the mounting point. EG/DC should be the same.

Better to use proper EF9 suspension for the simple fact that EG/DC2 shocks are longer by one inch on the front. This will affect your car by...

Not allowing you to lower your car as much on the front
Front feeling disconnected from your rear as the front will have a longer stroke
EG/DC2 front forks which are required may rub on your axles

All you need to fit EF9 suspension is..

EF9 rear control arms or AUDM 88 ED6 rear control arms (no sway bar mounting afaik)

the back suspension feels a bit bumpy, i think because the back of car is a lot of lighter than dc2r. depends ur coilover u can adj the damp rate urself.
it could be great for the track. fixed a lot understeer.
also the good thing is: dc2r swayar just bolt on like mine, dc2r lower tie bar also bolt on!
i can post a pic if u need it!
    cheers!

Ride is definitely stiffer on the rear when you run DC shocks or coilover set up due to the weight difference. I've got thinner springs on the back to combat the bounce a little
    blah blah blah

EF7/8/9 all have the same rear lower control arm, so no need to change them if your fitting EF8/9 suspension.
