thanks. my question is, if i walk into a tyre store and ask for either one of those spec tyres, will it fit any 18 inch regardless of offset or width? im not sure if theres anything else i need to look out for.

ahh sorry shimian i read what you said wrong,

    for a 7.5 " wide rim i would go for a 225 or a 235

only because a 215 is a bit too narrow for a 7.5 IMHO, 225 x 40 x r18 is a much more common tire size in my opinion so probably easier to find the tire you want etc.

tires have nothing to do with offset, thats your rims.

the only things you need to know are what size i.e 225/40/r18 and of course most importantly what rubber you are after

thanks for the info. Ill go get myself some decent 225/40 tyres.
    I had another question.

"Also FD2 lugs are 12mm X 1.5"? Again, it will slot into all rims?"

Can someone confirm if FD2 lugs/wheel locks are 12mm X 1.5"? Therefore i just buy this size and it will fit my 18"x7.5?

    cheers

^Buy any Lugnuts which are 1.5" and you'll be fine, the length is irrelevant. Just depends on how much you want it to stick out.

I havent bought any tyres yet cos i didnt know what tyres would fit 18x7.5.
After some help from rk 86 wa, ill look for some 225/40. A mate mentioned Adrenalin tyres. Anyone used them before? Looking to spend between 200-250 a tyre
