Depends on the colour of your car, my one's is black FD and i managed to get the red badge(back part) with black layer after the silver layer which makes the badge stands like this ---------> /| instead of //

The original red badge (back part) will sit vertically instead of following your body curve.

EJ, just wondering if you get a good price for the trade ins? I'm looking to upgrade my wheels and still thinking should I trade-ins my stockies 16" with around 50% tyres (5 of them) or just sell them by myself...

    Cheers

After some help from rk 86 wa, ill look for some 225/40. A mate mentioned Adrenalin tyres. Anyone used them before? Looking to spend between 200-250 a tyre
@ shimian: looks like you've sorted out the size of the tyres but you might want to consider the load rating as well. FD1s require at least 91 load rating. speed rating shouldn't be a problem for tyres over 17" as they at least have "W" speed rating.

225 wide tyres should be perfect for 7.5" wide rims.

but if up to curve area, seems won;t fit.

coz seems FD and FA/FG trunk shape slightly diff.
@ dmx: thanks for the input. looks like the ebay ducktail won't really be curved from the side view as you illustrated in the pics that you posted coz it will be on top of the boot lid (similar to your ducktail). the curve that i'm concerned of is if you look from the back of the car (green curved line on the pic of your car with ducktail). you think this curve of the boot lid for the JDM/AuDM same with that for the USDM boot lid?
