    Bad luck. Keep us updated, it's interesting that it happens in only 1st and 2nd gear, which rules out the major bearings in the gearbox.

    Yeah will do.

    It happens in 3rd as well, but not so often and really faintly. More so when its jerky.

    They are going to go through it and see. Just won't have a car for a while.

    Alright, after three days at Honda, tranny out and opened they have given me an update.

    One of the bearings is faulty and its fragments have caused damaged to the main shaft and diff.

    It requires a rebuild and parts are on order from Japan, 2-3 weeks before i'm back on the road.

    Trying to negotiate for a new tranny through customer relations, but doesn't seem they will bite.
