18z fit fine .. its all about offset ... keeping in mind the FD2R uses 18" wheels

yeahh thats pretty tempting to go for 19s, im just worried it will sit too low on the arches with a 2" drop and then scrub on the arches and front fenders..

the larger the wheel the further away the arch gets, cos the diameter of the wheel is growing... so the more u will need to drop the car to make the arch sit flush with the tire..

im on 19"s and i think i need a 2.5 - 3 inch drop to achieve my goal and that isnt even tucking.. well it might be on the tire.

btw springs dont alway drop to the suggested drop. its only an approx

oh yeah, that makes more sense now actually...

yeahh, the springs im getting suggest a 2", but from customer reviews they say its really about 1.4". hmm might just be right for 18s then. price is the only thing stopping me from going 19s now i guess.

    thanks for the help mate.

1 finger gap between arch and tyre? thats alright.. im not looking to drop so it overlaps or anything. nothing huge... skunk2 springs so yeah... unless i can find another good brand which doesnt cost so much and can drop 2-3" ill settle with the 1.4" drop on skunk2s =/

my suggested 2inch drop is barely noticeable to most people ... just dont expect your car to be "slammed" on a set of 18" or 19" or even 20"z

but i just put my springs in last week so maybe it needs time to sag
