Delay between posts

Just a thought, perhaps we should have a flag set to users which can let them post either 20 seconds or 45 seconds apart?

I know we can't do a blanket 20 seconds coz we'll get people abusing it, but perhaps have a flag which is set to 45 seconds upon joining, then once a member (and you arent a trouble maker) it goes down to 20 seconds? Moderators can change the flags (and youre PMed when it is for the reason behind it and who did it). When you receive enough infractions to go into the red you lose the ability to 20 second post automatically?

Can this be done? Are we interested?

I'm just sick of having to wait between posts and searches just coz some immature people like to post 'lol' in every second thread.

dont think it can be done.

Requires "modifications" to the system and this opens vulnerabilities.

soz dude , with time and experience on this website , this is how its become. Perhaps if you get enough people behind you Wynode might reduce the post frequency down.

Well i normally put a few posts in quick succession in between tasks at work so I'm often getting caught up with it.

Its also annoying on searches when you realise you didnt put the criteria in right, you have to wait to do it again after you fixed it.
