Its an occurrence happening more and more, people who don't know what they are doing and asking other amateurs on forums that don't know the car or the product for the answers...

You did say professional didn't you? Maybe I mis-read it... Since when did JB have professional in-house installers? They're all contractors from what I know who are probably not insured to work on other's cars nor have enough knowledge on new vehicles or products that JB don't sell...

Then save and get the install done properly or you will rubbish them forever that they sound like arse because you were a tight arse with not getting them installed by someone that knows the speakers and the car you want to put them in...

finally i got it done today, the mid bass sounds very solid. i got the tweet in the kick panel but the tweet output seems to be comming from the floor rather than at head level. is this normal or do i need to play with tweeter location, settings?

mate, i think is all about the setting of the tweeter, coz my tweeter sit in same location as well, but their sound come at head level. Why not give northfield a call or go there for some advice? they all more than welcome to answer ur question. and IMO put the tweeter live in kick panel rather than other area if you want the clean look of the car. GL with mod on audio, mate!
