    [CL9]about the stock euro HIDS

hey guys i did a search but didnt quite find the answer i was looking for.

i know the sport euros have a bulb of H1's and the lux have the hids of d2s?? or something, i just wanna know is the lux hids just the bulb ? or does it come withthe ballast as well because i was checking out my friends one and the headlight cover is sealed and empty and when i opened it nothing was inside except the bulb.

i wanna know also since its like that can i just buy the OEM lux HIDS and swap them with mine ?

Lux has different headlights, different bulb and different ballast. Lux also has auto levelling sensors.

Euro luxury is using D2S HID. You can only find the bulb inside the housing, the ballast is under the housing. OEM HIDs quite expensive so it's better just buy HID kit. It's only $74 in ebay. Or if you want a good one buy the eagle eye HID kit from www.plasmagarage.com. They use Phillips ballast like the OEM kit. I change my D2S bulb to 8000K and i bought it from plasma garage. One of the bulb just blown 2 weeks ago after 4 years.

^^^ There's a reason why it's known as "piss". Yours cost you $6,000 in 3 months. I drink only water so mine cost 14.8 cents in 3 months. That means I'm $5,999.85 closer than you to buying my next car with HID as standard equipment.

Hi, I've got the euro luxury and wish to change the HID globes,
does anyone know how many K's is the standard globe, because I'm thinking about getting 6000K, also, how would I go about changing the globe, is it a complicated process

Standard is 4300K. I changed mine to 8000K. You need a special screwdriver to open the housing, the rest is like changing normal globes.
