Any opinions on dunlop dirrezas dz101 tyres? It's cheaper than I was expecting to pay but have been offered 150 per tyre including fitting and balance etc. Tyre specs are 215/40/18.

Opinions? Anyone running them? I've searched here and it seems most people reckon they are good for non-tracked cars.. but want to be sure they are safe enough in the wet.

hey mark, where you'll get it from? I'm looking for 225/40/18 and so far the cheapest and good quality i can find is Kumho KU31 for 165. can anyone help with which one better?

T1R's are probably abit much for basic street use.

I'd recommend the kuhmos KU31's, cheap and fairly good, and i can tell you they are very good in the wet.. Very similar to the RE001's. Not too sure about the Dunlops...

    Although thats my IMO.

The width of the tyre doesn't matter its just that if it gets bigger say 18x9 the tyres would be more stretched compared to a 18x7.

225/40/18 would be a good fit as i'm running 225/45/17, the profile is similar just a 0.1" difference. No scrubbing with lowered springs although that'll depend on ur own car.
