Door rattles when listening to music

Has anyone been able to fix the horrendous rattles from the front door trims when listening to music with even the slightest of bass?

Both my front doors rattle something shocking (left worse then right) even at low levels of volume and bass. The left is so annoying i'm about to stick my foot through the fu*king thing.

I have had many new cars and i have never experienced it so bad in any other car, and that excludes all the other rattles the piece of shit has. Fix one and then another one appears.

I still can't beleive how poor quality these Honda's are and mine has only just reached 6000kms.

Me buy another Honda again? Not even if you paid for it.

They have never been off (had the car since new.) But bythe sounds of it i am going to have to rip the trims off and see whats causing it on both sides.

Anyone have a photo of the clips used on the door trim? I might aswell go buy some as no doubt some will break when pulling it apart.

I get rattles from both the airbag covers near the front windscreen too but this must be common as the demo car also had this problem. More rattles from the dash board and parcel shelf too.

You could try some felt on the inner side of the trim, and may as well put some sound deadening in the door while you are at it. That should get rid of your rattles and improve your sound quality.

Sorry you're not enjoying your Honda like the rest of us.

Apparantley Honda in their ultimate wisdom only pays dealers $1000.00 towards any warranty work resulting in the rectification of rattles etc and only then it's limited to the first 1000kms. After that the dealer themselves must fork out for the repairs themselves which is why the common answer "no fault found" is too commonly heard.

The problem is with Honda Australia. They want all the $$$ and then don't want to know you. The dealer is just there to pick up the pieces and even that asks too much sometimes.

I could go back to the dealer (8th time in 5 mths for warranty work) but i have a strong suspicion they will wipe their hands clean of rattle issues now so all the stuffing around ends up costing me even more money. Better off fixing it yourself.

Interesting enough i noted my paperwork shows an 08 build and so does Hondaone but looking at the plates the other day it indicates the car was made in June 07 but Australian complied Feb 08. To me the car was built in 07, not 08 their paperwork and site claims.

For me i am seriously considering getting rid of the car becuase i've had enough of the car and Honda in general.

I recently discovered my source of rattling. Heard it for about 7months until last week.

Heard metalic rattling from the footwell of the passenger side when cruising 5-6th gear on the highway... pull out the glove box, checked engine bay and found nothing... found out that it was my side under spoilers which weren't attached to bottom car properly. The plastic clips somehow gotten loose and was hitting the metal part of the car upon vibration... fixed it and it is absolutely bliss!
