Anyone removed the rear wiper an on EG Hatch and filled the gap?

I'm looking for a DIY, but can't find anything.

i suppose it's the same as an EK... undo the wiper motor from the inside, dismantle it then disconnect the wiper arm from the motor, which is held in by a 10mm bolt... pull it off after ya take the arm off... and Robert's your father's brother!... and to plug the hole, i used a blanking grommet... it's about an inch in diameter... that's off the top of my head... for a more in depth explanation, "search"... lol... too hot to type!
While driving the other day, I saw a banana peel on the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it... thanks Mario Kart.

Be careful though when doing this to make sure the latch sits correctly because if not the boot lid either doesnt want to open sometimes or takes forever to close (ie the latch is just not grabbing and you may have to slam the lid a few times to get it to take).

Looking back if i was going to do this again to my next EG i wont.

If anything just block the rear washer bottle pump from the front passenger side fender (look behind the bumper).

That way you dont get that bloody annoying dribble of water when you hit vtec.

It was like the car wet itself everytime.
See a good post? - PQ it

What is it that keeps drawing me back to Hondas??
