Has anyone got aftermarket d series headers for a non vtec engine?

I know its basically pointless to mod a the d16y4 but is there any headers out they that will actually improve performance?

im just gonna go with ebay headers for my d16. like u said above no point in modding a d16 lol. anything flowing free'er will be enough of an improvement

u wont gain much power just a better response and feel..im thinkin maybe 10% more kw

Yeah makes it more responsive,with an exhaust,hi flow cat,exhaust and intake,will be much better!

hi all
i had a set of headers made up by my local exhaust shop for my civic with the d16y4 in it, after the headers got it run on a dyno for next to nothin to see what had improved, extra 8 kw atw, not much but alot better response and the angrier engine note was great. i would of done it just for the sound, the lil SOHC 1.6 sounds pretty dam good with a decent zorst and intake on it
