civic or a crx for a first timer

hey hey i've got my young 15yr old on a first cat that is a civic or a crx nothing beside that for a first car.! if i do get a cheap wreckd civic with pwr windows pwr steering an air con... how much would that be?? or a 89 crx same thing wreckd dont care if the engine is rusted or wateva just want it 2 be a efi engine so when i change the engine that i want i dont have 2 do a efi conversion an will cost more money
but i got my mind set on a 89 or a 93 civic an replace the engine with any b18c from a vti-r an do some mods to it with the extra pocket money

'89 EDs will be cheaper but they only came with EFi in the US.
an ED CRX will have EFi but no back seat.

see how things go since chi has been telling me about the crx etc. with its 800kg body weight i guess it will be a good for weight to ratio power then
