sidchrome and kincrome only have lifetime manufacture warranty, meaning it only covers factory faults not abuse hence why i couldn't return them. im only buying repco tools from now onwards because their about the same price and all their tools have full lifetime replacement warranty. i abuse the shit out off my ratchets and only the 1/4" have failed because i used it to take off my engine mount. i went back to repco and the guy at the counter said "you actually broke it" ,here you go a new one, no questions asked.

i would love to own snap on gear but they are over priced IMO

Repco tools are made by replicating snap-on gear.

no they arent. youve obviously never used snap on tools. buy snap on the only time you cant return a broken tool is if its like 100years old. im a mechanic and nearly all my tools are snap on and i havent broken one yet (i have a 700ft-lbs rattle gun)

i would'nt say repco is shit, other wise they wouldn't offer a full lifetime replacement warranty. it all comes down to willingness to pay i guess, why buy snap on when you can pick up repco gear a third the price and the same warranty. sure snap on is the best out there, after all they started it, but IMO you are paying more for the name.
