with my dc2r b18c7 and stock itr gear box

i went 12.88 @ 113mph i was bouncing off the limiter in 4th gear bout 2 rev bounces before i crossed the line.............it didnt help that i was running 205/50/15 (23.2inches)

the height of your tyres can solve your problem if ur worried about shifting into 5th gear...hence im looking for 225/50/15 which will bring it upto 24inches....

cool, with my car being a b16 my cut-off is 8,200rpm, so i'd have to shift as your b18c7 has a higher rev limiter than mine.

so looks like i'll be in 5th no doubt.

Can you fit 225/50/15 without rubbing?

Upgrade valve springs and rev it out. Is there a reason why you want to upgrade to a ITR box?

nah i got a PFC but i've set the rev limit to 8,200 so i don't kill the motor.

looking at getting another head also so i can rev it out abit more.
Looking at the ITR box for the LSD and the short ratios.
I've seen some others seem to get good times with the ITR box. Also i drove Haks ITR box and it felt alot more responsive than mine

yeah will do. Currently i'm prob gonna LSD a Integra VTIR box cos i can't seem to get my hands on an ITR box.
Based on the honda manual the 2 boxes are almost identical except for the slightly longer gears and the 4.4 FD

O in relation to what my mods are b16a (stock) GT28R@10PSI with 162kw atw.
Got a new manifold on the way Full ram ceramic coated. prob get another 5-10kw out of the car. Also a GT2871R on the way, prob get about 180kwatw by that time. Then a new head on the way. Hopefully i'll be able to tweak it to 200kw atw by that time.
Don't want too much more as i drive it daily.

A 12s street car is all i'm after. Once i get that right i'm gonna track it and enjoy the car

Sounds like your gonna need the LSD with that many killa wasps!

There are a few ITR boxes around, search and you will find. Have you thought of just putting a LSD into your B16a box? or do you really want the shorter ratios?

so far i haven't seen any around and i've been looking.
To put the LSD into my b16a box its gonna be harder, FD issues from what i worked out.
I'm gonna go b18c2 box that i have access to as the internals are identical. Might have slightly longer ratios, but not much choices at the moment.

While you have the gearbox open and putting int he LSD... you should also look into a DC2r FD... or even aftermarket.
