hahaa, btw can you get done for speeding if some random on the street reports your rego to the cops? or can they not do it cos they got no proof?

and does anyone know where i can get some rims repsrayed professionally with the proper coatings and stuff? and an approximation on how much it would cost on 18/19 inch set =/

my mate resprayed his rims, 18" FN2 rims to white and it cost him 50bucs per corner...

and also if anyone kno what is the rim size and offset of the JDM FD2R rims? planning on gettin 18" for FD2 but want sumthing that will hav no problems with scrubin.

oh, 50 bucks? like with what paint though, like im talking the proper rim protection coated stuff.. and clear coat etc?

i think their around +42/45? remember reading that somewhere but yeah not 100% on that mate.

are u getting genuine or replicas? if u get replicas then it will probably vary a little.. but not much?

8.5 with +45... that will only just fit on an fd, but u might have trouble with scrubbing the inside shocks cos its that wide..

Nah, the reason it needs to be jump started was cos it was sitting in the garage all weekend with one of the interior lights up the front on. From Friday night to Monday night.

And the reason it was in the garage all weekend was cos my license had expired a month ago.. only found out on Friday when I got a fine for it

wow 18 x 8.5, that sounds a bit too wide...? im not lookin at FD2R replica but RE30 replica in 18" but i need the exact rim measurement as i dun want any scrubbin issues, had that on my EK and yea didnt like it one bit lol....

the respray was powder coated, i was surprised with the cost as well...

can't legally put an older engine into a newer chasis. You can import a fd2r engine tho :-) . Tho not a easy swap into a fd1.
