what he said, but then again.. with all the mod's you have in your car already.. is it legal atm? why not just keep going..

why dont u import a fd2r from overseas, striped for race use.. 20g's..

you import is as a race car.. only has a drivers seat in it.

it would be much easier then doing a swap.

and then once you get bored at the track do the engine conversion + you will have the bumpers and all that stuff to do a full on FD2R conversion

I was considering doing it with a k20z1 from a dc5s, but for the price it will take I can buy the s2000 ive wanted at the end of this year so i figured, be happy with the fd1 for the moment and in a years time buy a car thats actually fast from factory that I wont be shitting myself when I get yellow'd cause I have an illegal engine in the car haha.

if you guys want more power out of your FD1s... cheapest and best option is turbo... and if you knew how much a replacment R18 is.... you would be doing it :P
