Yeah they are really advanced these days. The one I had before detected 4 types of lasers and 4 radars but it claims to be undetectable but I am not sure as my mate was using his new one last year on the freeway and his one is battery powered and switches off after detecting as well, the cop pulled him over and was just having a quick look inside his car with his flash light and my mate wasn't even speeding or have a modified car.
I don't use them as it is not worth the consequenses.

they're NOT undetectable because all the major companys arn't willing to develope stealth systems against the Stallcar2 RDD that the cops are using because australia is still the only country using stalcar2.
They are in fact illegal to buy, sell, posses and use... its like drugs think of them as the same, except the cops have kick arse sniffer dogs.
Laser detectors are useless aswell, you get 1/3 of a second from detection to slowing down before they have a speed reading.
