B16A Multiple Manifolds Gaskets - Intake Pipe to Turbo Clearance Problem

    Hey Guys

While Ben and I were testing how the manifold fits and where the oil return line should go we noticed the intake pipe to turbo wont clear the block.

Added several manifold gaskets plus shaving the block a little will fix this..

Thing is, how will the manifold seal with more than one gasket?

    Thanks

please do not run more than the one manifold gasket.......

take the manfold to a decent/good metal fabricator/exhaust shop/performance shop and get them to rotate the turbo flange to suit ur needs

Borrowed an angle grinder off my dad so we'll see how she goes

moding your piping is going to be easier, safer and more reliable then running multiple gaskets. haha.

    Do the right thing man.

the general trend with down pipes is to get one from the same company that makes descent turbo manifolds. As it requires the same strength and reliability.

Ebay items can't be gaurenteed and you'll end up replacing it cause it will break.

Also, are you running internal wastegate? If so that dump pipe won't allow the wastegate to operate properly.
