You'd need $1500 for tuning, $1500 for exhaust, $1000 for intake, $500 for bigger intercooler, $1500 for forged internals, $2000 worth of labour... approx $8000 ontop of that kit... then you'd have 450-500whp

anyone think this kit would be worth the hassle of buying? or just another ebay item that will probably need most things replaced anyway?

the turbo is probably a cheap chinese made turbine thatll wreck the bearings in the first 1000kms... intercooler piping is probably only 0.5mm and will buckle under proper clamps... the silicon joins will probably slip off the intercooler all the time because theyre only single ply, and the oil cooler/lines/sandwich plate will probably leak...

ive had friends buy similar "all in one kits" for different cars... you get what you pay for...

i think its a good deal if u want it for a daily drive running on around 8psi then u wouldnt have to upgrade too many other parts etc, anyway with 485hp on a FWD, GG torque steer, i'd be comfortable with high 200's, running stock internals etc just to give the euro that extra oooomft :P

485hp = worn gearbox, slipping clutch, CV joint wear

nope... CU2 has its header moulded into the cylinder head... so you wouldnt be able to fit the turbo manifold...
