    AVO Kit on b18B ?

    hey all

just wondering whether an avo kit, such as the one for sale in the following thread will fit on a b18B engine ?

    http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99397

If so, what else would be needed for installation.

    thanks in advance !

dont you still need a turbo to suit? as the kit doesnt come with a turbo

yeah you'll need a turbo for that kit. Its only piping, injectors etc. need turbo still.

ecu can be had for 1500 ish inc tuning, install will vary depending on where you go. DIY is possible to save some dosh but if you know nothing about cars take it somewhere else.

    ^ thanks for that
its really between turboing the car or slapping in a new engine. I know that theres probably more power to be had with turboing it but Ive always felt that a well built and tuned N/A engine is a real achievement..

my current engine got around 200,000KM on it, im waiting for it to give in.. it just wont, hence why turboing it has come into my mind lol.

as the saying goes ' if honda made people, no one would ever die'

so your trying to kill your current engine by turboing it?:S
if you are just tune it really lean and its sure to go out a bang

nah bro you got me wrong lol..

my plan was to get a conversion wen my current engine gives in.. but its still going heaps strong.. hence im contemplating turboing it coz it actually seems like it will be quite reliable..

if the engine was actually giving me problems than id go straight for the conversion without thinking about turbo..

hope thats clears it up lol
