I don't think V6 Euro would make it down here. I hope Honda Australia would be wise on this.

If it was ideal, no one would mod them for more power.

There's no pleasing you guys, is there?

You know, if Honda were to release the Euro in V6 wagon form here, I'd have to seriously consider signing up on the waiting list.

I think the handling concerns are valid too - the Euro was designed as a 4cyl car, and it'd be interesting to see how much of an impact the extra power and weight of a V6 will have on the handling.

I don't think the Euro could survive with a V6. The chassis shape has the the length of the car before the A-pillar so short, there's no room to push the engine back to keep some form of balance. It'll ruin the weight distrubution and as Aaron said, add to an already very evident problem with the Euro.

But I think what Honda/Acura are thinking is more from a luxury standpoint. There's nothing luxurious about sitting at 5000rpm with your foot 3/4 down and engine whinging to get up a steep hill when you have 5 people in the car with the air conditioning on. The automatic, torquey V6 is just going to make the car more comfortable and I think it's not meant to be a performance variant of the TSX/Euro.

who cares if its 5 or 6 speed as long as the ratios are well match to the torque characteristics of the engine.

a general statement that 5 speed manuals are a joke is pretty stupid

    Perhaps from the RDX??
Euro already has a good balanced engine ( owning the previous model)... i'd more like to see Honda put the effort putting the V6 into odyssey... then i'd be happy...

Do you know what you are talking about!I've owned a Liberty with a 5 speed, and it definitely needs another gear,it's a relatively low revving engine when compared to a Honda engine. It sits on 3K at approx.110kph and redlines at 5750.So i think you are stupid and you should read what i said as i was referring to Subarus.
