17 Inch Wheels Rubbing The Guards!

    *******ALSO POSTED IN INTEGRA FORUM*********

    Hi guys

    Need some WHEEL advice......

Ive just had some awesome looking 17 inch wheels and 215-45/17 tyres put on my car. Previously had 205-50/16s with no probs!

Its never been lowered....yet now the rear wheels are rubbing against the guards! Ive just had these rolled......but its still rubbing a bit - and i think its from the edge of the rear bumper top (inside the wheel arch) under extreme turning....Im thinking about getting these grinded off.

Admittedly the 215-45 tyres have a slightly higher profile than they should (other places are recommending 215-40 tyres) but are still within specs according to the tire place who recommended them!

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any advice on what I should do?

I had the same problem, but mines dropped 3 inchs, i fixed the problem by getting a camber kit all the way around and changing the camber on the rear wheels, handles alot better 2.
