this "condenser sounds like a 1 farrad capacitor (similar to those used on high end car audio systems) all it does is charge up to the cars peak electrical voltage and when the voltage falls below that of the capacitor it discharges itself across the cars system to try and hold the voltage steady. You can buy these capacitors from jaycar for around $100 and even get a whole heap of fancy connectors etc... to make it look bling. Now dont get me wrong, im sure that these things work and probably have some other sorts of regulating circuits and things as well but just be careful that it isnt some fancy marketing of a simple device. (p.s - Im a dual trade electrician/instrument fitter so i do have a little bit of knowledge on the subject of how electrical components behave)

yeh, as Gibbo said, this gadget does sound very similar to a Capacitor used in Car Audio Systems... not sure if it will do the same thing as a Capacitor but sounds rather similar. I'm waiting for my 5 Farrad Capacitor to come in for my system and i'll just have to wait and see for the results... This BuddyClub gadget seems to do a lil bit more than wat my Cap is going to do so, hmmm... sounds tempting...

In the US on buddy clubs website, it has an MSRP of 198 USD. I would have expected it to be at such a price on ebay. I figure if they buy in large quantities, they can sell it cheaper.
