either one. in japan they might wind it back to get a better grade rating and of course attract a higher price at the auctions. obviously a low km car will still have a better re-sale but a smart buyer takes into consideration the general condition relative to age and odometer.
in most cases, owners might unwind the km BEFORE they take it to auctions but generally auction paper is accurate. if they are suspicious with the KM, they will put it on the auction paper.
that's y i prefer to buy from agents rather than importers. you can to see the papers b4 u bid and u (should) get what you paid for.
hey does anyone get a real stinky smell inside their car when it rains ?? During dry season when my car doesnt see much rain the car smells fine. But after its been out in the rain and i hop in the car it sometimes smells terrible
sounds like you have a leak in the car...immediately check for damn spots in the car after it rains and get it fixed asap...leave it for too long and warm air in car + damp carpet = mould = smelly

same, check ur surroundings on the outside of the front window cause i got a lil gap, but water only tends to leak through in heavy rain but im not 100% sure of this being the problem
