Thread: Exhaust For FD

  1. #49
I'm going to revive this. As over half a year has gone past.

Who now has a exhaust system on their FDs?

I still haven't found a full system for the FD1... and I've looked heaps. One place is telling me there's a "Shark" branded full FD1 system... but it sounds like a cheap crappy brand that no one has ever heard of it.

Anyone care to share their setup?

why not just get a catback instead? muffler is boring and lame and usually ends in a loss of power low end

even if you get a catback with bigger piping you will still lose power low end

i just want a simple (and cheap) looking tip. nothing big like a canon.. i think they dont look that great on FDs.
so maybe something like this universal muffler from xforce?

looks a bit like the remus tips but cheaper... lol

anybody live in brisbane and know where i can buy some good and inexpensive mufflers and tips?

also been hanging out for a cat/axleback LOL..

i think one or two of the traders is offering a catback system.

but would also like to know if anyone has a remus installed.. if so dont be shy in sharing your knowledge

Shimian has remus... but I don't just want a muffler.

A couple of traders have cat-back/axle-back systems for the FD2, but not for the FD1.

Might have to get researching and have a system made up with components of my choice if nothing comes to market... either way i'm not paying a muffler shop to make one with parts/diameter of their choosing.

Well the first one is for FD2.

And all the rest are only mufflers... which are more or less universal anyway.

There is a Weapon R header from the states, but you better get another cat in there asap if you put that in as it removes your main cat.
