Damn that must've felt like a knife to the heart~!

Dunno how good it is or how much it costs etc... but I saw at a dealer (PM me for details) that had a service where they can do minor touch ups for you. You can give them a call and see what they say if you wanna repair it.

Try at the dealers. They don't come with touch up paint.

Should be abround $20-$25 for the touch up. I walked past a CU2 with sideskirts this morning and by the looks of it, it should cover up all of that damage there nicely. As Aarong suggested, just make sure you touch up before installing the sideskirt to prevent rust.

    this one didnt

will touch up fix REALLY deep scratches tho
it doesnt have to look correct in terms of colour. just fix the depth of the scratch
and how do they make it shiny?

would the dent affect the skirt? cause srsly its dented bad. if the skirt was originally vertical. id say a 30degree bend inwards has happened.

Yeah, touch up paint is for really deep scratches! They make it shiny by blending it in. Leave to dry and cure, sand smooth with 2000 grit, then polish. I wouldn't bother too much if you are going to cover it, but I do know you want it looking the best.

Don't take my word for it, but I think it wont. Side skirts are usually screwed on by the front and back, in the wheel arches, and double sided tape along the length. Not sure how the CU2 skirts are held on?
Panel shop might be able to do a crude job fixing the dent before putting on the side skirt.

thanks type r positive, uve made slightly more relieved lol

    i have one last question.

when you guys say panel beaters, do u mean like any old smash repairs or car mechanic?
like is it a term generally referring to all mechanics, or specific term to ppl who repair body parts. and how do you tell who is a panel beater.
like do service station mechanics count?

and i think the cu2 skirts use tape by the looks of their deisgn lol
