If you have a powerful system, you may need a capacitor to help reduce the sudden drain of power and less stress on the electrical system.

I've heard that a system with over 1000Wrms may benefit from a capacitor.
But for quality, capacitor adds some what of a noise to the system.

I'm not 100% sure so maybe someone more professional can clarify.

when pumping the music, sometimes headlights ect will dim due to the sudden drain of power. the cap reduces/stop this problem.

and yes, from personal experience there is a bit of interference

cant you get rid of the interferance if you ran the gauge wiring and the ground away from the amp wires, and the rcas?

i dont see why there would be a problem
