I'm probably going to be extending mine to about 9,500rpm in the short term future.

Otherwise, I believe the Spoon engine is 10000rpm? however I could be wrong.

Wayne Park ran a slightly modified S2000 in the GTP series a few years ago. Its revlimit was increased to 10,000rpm.

Um.... Valves and valve springs would be the first, obviously with cams. A factory engine fitted with cams would only see 10,000rpm a handful of times before a major engine failure. Start thinking more like spending $15K for your engine to rev reliably. Dry sump, cams, valves, valve springs, full engine blue print and rebalance, major head work including porting, injectors. You only need to see what all the major japanese tuners run on there F20c's. Really not worth the effort, $$$ for the power gains.
