    FYI:

    i revved to 11.5-12K , and i blew the engine , yesterday just got my car back after 2 months with brand new engine
    i wouldnt goover 9.5K , atleast i m not gonna do that again
    Stock bottom end, stock everything.

    interesting.. i never knew just changing it will actually make it rev to 10k.. where can i pick one of those up? not going to just install that and be a tool and blow my engine im considering doing the other work also.. but all on a maybe because i dont want to have engine failures in the long run of having it..

    Changing your cluster won't do anything other than having a dash with 10,000rpm. Ecu makes sure of that!

    Dude, if your after more power. Force fed is the way to go. But to play it safe, i'd personally still be changing lots of internal parts. That way massive gains are easily achievable and reliability shouldn't be a problem.

    Cluster won't do jack.

    Replace ECU with an AEM EMS and set the rev limiter as high as you like.

    Mind you, above 9.3K you won't make power and you'll probably float valves.
