well i dont think u can use anything from ur d16a8. go on d-series.org to research.

depends how much u have to spend on it. turbo is probably the best, or to ditch the engine in favour of b or k series.

    you could also supercharge.

you could also do an n/a build if you were deadset on keeping the engine.

Do an Intake for starters as this can be cheap and used for your next engine. buy a piggyback computer as this can be used with ur current motor plus any future ones.

Best thing to do would be to invest in suspension components in your car as this will give you more bang for buck.

full exhaust, intake, suspensions work than ecu to go with the mods

intake headers and exhaust, dont spend anymore on the engine in NA form

you want a nicer sound or to hear vtec do this

unless you boost it, nothing on it will make it go faster NA unfortunately

so around $1000 for new headers, custom exhaust cat back and intake with filter would do the trick
    WTB: EK oem JDM Visors

    I love J-Cups

    > full exhaust, intake, suspensions work than ecu

    intake, exhaust & ecu on a D16 won't get more the 20kW.
Big $$$ for not much gain.

Further most mods will drop low rpm torque, to gain a bit at the top.
This accentuates the sucky 1-2-3 gear ratios the D16 boxes have.

    What are your goals?

    > you could also supercharge.

Unless you have a fab shop handy, this is a very expensive way to go.

    > ive got a d16a8 twin cam non vtec siting in my garage

D16y's are the better supported for aftermarket pieces.

ive got d series engine aswell, not worth trying to get it better unless your goin to turbo or supercharge it man. Have to spend to much money for not much power otherwise.
