    as for your precious interior, try removing the cigarette lighter ash tray and look for any screws....undo them with a screwdriver and if you need to, use the back end of a teaspoon to pry out the panels making sure that they're still not bolstered to the car (i.e making sure u unscrewed everything). interiors of hondas have plenty of clips so it shouldnt be too hard to pry them
    if you're still worried and if you dont want to muscle it..., call an electrician to do it and pay him money to do it right the first time round

    ^ i think they use those tiny button cell batteries, and only light up when the wheel is moving.

    i think it's another tacky thing he's adding to his car...but to each their own.
