98type-r bumper on a 94 vti-r

Hey people i just need abit of help here so if you know anything about ma problem PLZZZZZZ msg bak.

atm im looking at buying a 98 dc2typ-r front bumper for my 94 vti-r. I know its not going to bolt on directly but does anyone know how much modifying is needed 2 do this job.? I just wana get a rough idea of wat im getting into before i purchase the front bar.

You will need the 98 model headlights to go with it

It will bolt on.. you need to replace the headlights to 98-01 and the two front corners..

If you know anyone that can supply lights.. let us know.. cause im doing the conversion too...

u said the bar was from a 98 model yeh? wouldnt this bar be the one with the long headlights? not the one with the dual round ones?

depends wat lon gyou meam ,long and straight is the old pre-93 model and the 98 onwards ahve long ones that have circles in them too so they stick out at the top

i think he means long as in the headlights sits flush with the front bumper.. so its "longer" hahaha

i saw a white teg in canley with full type r shit (int & ext) but the front bar was a 94 model.. even had 5 stud HRV rims!...
i wasnt sure if it was a DC2R or a wanabe hahaha

It may be a ITR with a replacement bumper cause his oem itr bumper maybe damaged?.... hahha..

wat happened was i was in an accident and a mashed ma front right corner in. so now im searching for parts... ive already brought vti-R headlights and indicators and now im looking for a front bar. I was only asking about the front bar because i know of someone selling a type-r bar and im kinda in a hurry 2 get anything.. so if it was an easy mod then i would of brought the type-R bar.
