20kgs?! wouldnt it be like 10-12kgs at most?

10kgs would be the rim only; Rim + Tyre: 17-20kg not sure on exact since i don't have the 17" myself.

Doesn't really matter. I was on Wakefield once and I did my best lap time with a 52kg passenger on board! And that was driving at 10/10ths. If on the street where you drive normally and even have fun at about 7/10ths, the difference of 20kg is very minimal.
