i got it for 26k drive away with a 3 year full warranty on all parts engine driveshafts and everything lol =P
anyways just wanna ask you guys a few questions
everytime i turn on the car theres a japanese chick talking to me lol and theres like a little card reader to the bottom right the guy said its like a japanese ETAG so yeah anyone else have one its no big deal but yeah thought i'd ask
also when i fold in the mirrors my left one is a bit slower the the right sometimes and gets stuck any ideas how to fix this problem?
I hope he is kidding :s yeah i didnt have much prob with the clutch and taking off... going from a 1400kg AWD turbo u need a bit of gas to get it going so its all good
cheers mate haha, but i didnt take any pictures when i did it sorry. but i will list the process:
1. buy the aftermarket back one with uncut key from any key store that have stock, it should be able to fit for model such as honda jazz key here, i.e. same shape.
2. use tools to cut remove the uncut key out from the plastic
3. cut your ep3's key, yeah i know no one want to cut their original key but cuz i got some extra aftermarket made keys for my car so i just cut those not original key, and then cut into the right size to fit into that aftermarket key case which the uncut key already been removed.
4. use the right glue to glue it up with the type-r front case, because there must be some gap in between due to the ep3 keys are thinner so i used hot gum with the gun to apply those glue into the gap.
5. after i glue the one side after make sure the key position has been fixed, then i used super glue to glue that type-r case together. Done!!!
6. some work might need cuz the aftermarket back case is not match the genuine type-r case very well so i think we can use the model puddy to fill in any gap, also be aware there are some holes for the factory remote on the aftermarket back case, so some sticker might be needed to cover the gap, good luck guys who want to do this job cheers!
