ITB's can make your fuel consumption suck ass if the tuning is no good, especially on the B-series cause it has no wide band correction.

    I use to normally get around 350km's a tank city driving (B18CR ITB's, 4.9FD).

    Now with my K I get 500km's+

    Anyone with a ITB'd K to compare?

Barefoot, would it help with the ITBs on the B-series to have closed-loop lambda control, as available with MoTeC M400?

I'll have to stop 4 times on the way to sydney for fuel. I'll also go deaf at 100km/h at 4200rpm...

If Motic M400 requires a wide band o2, then i'd say yes it'd help. But as it is, you should get at least another 100km's a tank if you got a decent tune.

i got fully build engine, b18c2, high compression piston, rebore, with buddyclub spec 3 cams, spring n retainers and skunk2 cam gear, after tuning, im getting an average of 400kms full tank, thats city n highway drive, and i like revving my engine from 1st gear to second gear, and thats wat i get, since my aircon not working im getting 435 kms.take ur car for a tune and youll get a better fuel consumption.
