I already have headers and an exhaust all i need is cold air intake but i honestly dont think its going to make that much of a difference. Also 1 more question is how do i know which ecu i have in the car without taking the paneling off to check? Because in the B16 FAQ thread it says thats a EK vtir should have OBD 2 is that correct?

also, i'd go a hi flow cat converter.. like the big ****off stainless steel onez heh
yeh should be that ECU, if its a B16..
there are TONS of aftermarket parts for that engine man..
i was less fortunate to end up with d series vtec bebeh, but i've built her to a respectable rep..

Yeah i dunno i might have a look i need to get intake either way i mean shit i wont have money for the engine or the labour for a looonnnggg time and if im not mistaken most of those parts are bolt on neway so it shouldnt make too much of a difference. Any idea if the OBD2 can be chipped?

id look at the vafc if you dont plan to do any other mods.
i dont really rate the vafc, and also depends on the tuner.

if you plan on doing cams and stuff, look at getting something else. depending on budget, there are sooooo many to choose from.

    haha.

always good to look ahead before you go and spend pointlessly, and work slowly to reach your goal.

last tune i did with my setup with the d16 vtec, i was pulling the same as a stock b16 with catback, and the VAFC..
now with new mods, have to take it back to toda for a tune with the new headers, intake and hi flow cat..
one major bummer about doing up cars...

Hmm so really even if i stuck with this engine i can still do alot to it... So lets say i would want to do more, what could i do as a start? Apart from new ECU and intake because that would be the first things i'd do. Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn/clarify a few things :P
