    Every time you work on your car electrical wise you disconnect the battery. Thats what i met mate! You should be fine, other wise take it to a auto electrician and they could fit it for you. There should be many tutorials online you could follow.

    PS. my English is terrible! lol

    lol when i did it i disconnect the battery for about 10 min then i installed the wheel. but im not sure if i need to reset the ecu so that the car can recognize the new airbag.

    No dude it shouldn't. Every time I reset my ECU I disconnect the battery and stomp on the brakes until the light don't flash anymore. Reset the ECU every time.

    PS if you had to readjust the clock it was reset...

    Clears error codes I guess. Probably like resetting a computer...

    define power? u mean engine power after the reset? or battery power

    disconnect battery, press brake for 10 second to drain the electric power remain in the wiring, then do it.

    dont stress over it ... seriously.

    Unplug battery, install, plug battery back in. your car isn't going to lose or gain power

    Unplugging the battery is just to stop deployment of the airbag, which shouldn't happen if you install it properly

    lol nah im not worrying bout losing or gaining power. im worried bout my srs. if the ecu recognizes the new airbag or not.
