So true... 17's for performance is way to big too! Unless you are packing a worked K20A or something - and need more traction.

If you are going to get big rims that will ruin the entire car... just go out and slam it on 20 inch Dolces! DIY cross drill the rotors too like Lowie said.

Anyways, if you want light rims, and prepared to pay for Volk Racing wheels... the CE28N's are the lightest in the Rays catelouge. Have a look at them...

If costing was an issue i wouldnt have spent money putting the 6A12TT in there. Nor would i have spent a penny doing anything else to the car... So where costing might be an issue in upgrading wheel size to some, it isn't to me. The wheels are accomodated for in terms of power, guard modification, suspension, and brakes. I've had extensive work done to the guards to bring them out a good 2inches. Im also running PBR 4piston 343's slotted on the front. And both turbos on there are upgraded TD05's.

Never wanted to go chrome. Hate chrome.

I simply wanted to know info about offsets

Simply put, if you knew enough info to get a Mitsubishi motor working and installed on a honda, im sure you could use all that brain power to find out about offsets, but none the less i wont go on and start a argument, check this link out for details about offsets http://lmgtfy.com/?q=wheel+offset

TE37's I believe are the lightest of the lot no?

You guys need to remember that not everyone is into JDM 15/16's for their Honda's, why the need to be stupid about it!? He's obviously gone pretty far on his DC2 fitting a TT engine and done some decent body mods etc etc, so he wants a bigger wheel to go with the excessive look to suit the other mods.

Maybe check out the CE28N's, they come in a fair range of colours, I had 19x10.5's on my GTR and they were very light, obviously once I put 285's on them they weren't so light, but I'd imagine you'll be going 8/8.5 and something like a 215 tyre so it wouldn't add as much weight!

    Nope... CE28's are.

The way it works... they (Rays) have weighed each rim and named according in a certain size (I think a 15 x 6, or 14" or something - anyways, doesn't matter they use the same size to measure up against the rest in the catelouge).

In what ever size they use to weigh (can't member which one):

    CE28's, weigh 2.8 kg's
    TE37's weigh 3.7 kg's
RE30's are 30% more rigid than a CE28. (Edit: RE also stands for Rays engineering)

Overall, Rays most popular rim is the CE28, due to the combination of weight and structral rigidity.

    It wouldn't be ozhonda otherwise

Thanks though. It will most likely either be 18x9 or 19x9 depending on weight on the front and rear.

Found a pretty neat site too.

Speak to the guys at Mu Secret, thats where I got mine from, very helpful and knew all the answers to my questions, I'm sure he'll be able to help you out.

    GTC and CE28N only come in a 8/8.5/9.5 in 19's....only 18's come in a 9in width.

AFAIK, Most if not all RAYS wheels can be custom made to suit your needs. Just depends on how much of a baller you are

AFAIK, Rays wheels can only be customised with offset, and colour. Sizing however, I am unsure of. I do vaugely member reading that they don't, because some width and diameter sizes combinations compromise rigity and structure of the wheel.

Not sure, they had mine in stock and took about 3 days to get to me, otherwise its a long wait usually.....might have to compromise a bit if you don't want to wait.
