hey i'm really curious about the measurement of lowering the car, as post in this second pic, look nice, wondering how high is that? pls don't state its in mn, i'm a noob so better off break the detail down quite abit for me, THANKZ

also y would the softest setting be scrap? and if i'm planning to load the car with 19" n lower 1.5 front - 2 rear [fingergap measurement, as i aint know its in Mn], will it be any harsh or scrap?

had read lots of reviews said, 19" might be too big , will make the car goes harsh especially when lower n of course , very costy when replace the tyres [will do with rotate its around =], is it truth of these statement? anyone has experience for this to share? QD i'd see u run on 19" =]

My original 19" wheels were 19x8 +42 offset 235 35 tyres and lowered with 2 finger gap front and rear and the rear would scrape the inside of the guard when going in driveways or bigger than usual bumps. New wheels are 19x8.5 +45 offset 225 35 tyres and no scrape at all. I reckon i could go to 1 finger gap but would probably scrape, but then again i am only running something like -1.4 camber on the rear, the more camber you give it the further away from the inside guard it will be (Unless you dump it on its ass)

So depends on size of the wheels, tyres and how much camber your running when figuring out if it will scrape when lowering the car in my experience. 19" wheels obviously the ride is gonna be not as comfy as stock wheels and probably a bit noisier (depending on tyres, again in my experience) to drive on but its a sacrifice which in return you get better handling and looks.

I've set my BC N+ to 7 clicks front and 9 clicks rear and seems comfortable to drive around on, slightly harder than stock.

so from my noob understanding is that ur new wheel setting doesnt make ur car scrap with the inner guard, the reason being is that u have more + offset, hence the car goes more flush in right?

doesnt the wider wheel make any problem to this or harshness?

now i'm only saving up for N+ else K'sports shock, thus u think i won't have to be worry about wheel or i can study about them later on when i have enough money to buy a nice 19" set right?

The More offset +50 will sit inside the guards;
The Lower offset +40 will sit flush with the guards/fender.

Yes the wider the wheel the more limitations and possibilities you might need to roll the guards.

Harshness i dependant on the size of the wheels you choose.
The bigger the wheels the lower profile your tyres will need to be;
Lower profile tyres will cause more harshness as there will be less flexibility in the tyres.

19" should be fine just get the right offset with the right size tyres and you'll be fine.
But for a safe size i say 19"x 8 or 8.5 running 225/35 tyres should be safe to clear and no scrub.

If you go 2finger gap with 19" that will still look like a 4WD, i would suggest you get your suspension first then think about wheels and all.

Strut bar helps in steering by stiffening up the tower sections of the chassis, it produces the feel that your car is like a race car.
So it increases understeer.
As you said if you lower the car and put strut tower bar on you will not notice much of a performance diff except that the steering would have tightened up.

i'm gonna go 18" for the new ones, something with a dish and yeah with the right offset, i love a dish on wheels i think thats why the tenzo's didnt do it for me
