DIY - Fitting EK sideskirts onto EG

Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!

Hi all, this is my first DIY write up so hope you all like it :]

    Tools:
    - 2x EK OEM sideskirts
    - Screw driver
    - hack saw/dremel tool *whatever you find easiest to cut plastic*
    - Drill

As most of you might know, EK items are roughly 1-2 inches longer then EG items, so there is some modification involved. but nothing over the top :]

1- Start by taking off the EG sideskirt. Screws in the front and underneath.

after all screws are out, slide the side skirt TOWARDS the front of the car.

2- Now that you have that off, you can test fit the EK item.

you can see how much is needed to be trimmed off.

3- i just traced a line where the guard ends. *refer to pic*

4- TAKE YOUR TIME TRIMMING IF YOURE USING A HACKSAW. a dremel tool would be the ideal tool to use if you can get your hands on one.
*dont have pics of this bit sorry*

5- Do another test fit,see if you have cut enough.

6- Now line it up with the EG side skirt and measure out where the new holes need to be drilled out. *refer to pic*

and thats it! bolt everything back up and enjoy your new modification :]

as for the gap on the front end of the sideskirt, ill be plastic welding the end some time in the next few weeks. so ill update this DIY then :] another way around it is to cover it up with mudflap. Most people do this. Alot easier and less hassle.

Hope you all enjoyed my write up

    Nice DIY thanks.
    I'm looking into doing this

If you cut it in the middle would the curved profile at the front match the EG?
