hahaha...yeh i used a hole saw too but had to file it a bit as well...which was no big deal...and i filed out the notches as well so the bulb holder locks in properly

Blow torch to soften the plastic then use a blade to cut the hole and you can still smooth out the edges.

Just remember to wear a mask though. I got a little high from all the butane and melted plastic fumes.

i accidentally bought teh 2 wired bulb holders, so my lights only come on when i break. haha still good tho. good guide *thumbs up*

^ If you bought 2 wired bulb holders you can have the lights go on when you turn on the parker lights. Just need to connect it to the other wire from your main bulb.

eh, if you only have the 2 wire holders, imo its better to have it breaking, you get a bigger change from parkers when your driving at night.

imo i think just having parkers is better than just having brake lights, makes it look better at night all the time rather than just when braking...

lol i suppose it's really up to personal preferences. It's not too much trouble to switch it around to suit your liking once you've done it once.

did u guys use heatshrink to bind the wires? or did u just use electrical tape?

Electric tape will suffice. I used heatshrink and solder to make it look cleaner though

Hmmm, I didn't do this to my car, it was already done when I bought it.. but it looks like the previous owner did something wrong hahah. So, when I turn on the parkers/lights the 'extra' lights turns on , but when I step on the brakes, they turn off . So at night people behind me get confused "Is he on or off the brakes..? " Yeh Good times, so what part of this DIY do I follow to correct this? Slice and dice some wires ?

^ I suppose you need to open up the taillights to begin with LOL. It's funny that it goes off but the brake wiring from the bulb (bottom) is connected to the parker wiring coming out from your existing light (top bulb). Try connecting the other wire from the bulb to the other wire on the existing bulb.

Leave the other wires untouch and see what happens after that. Just connect the wiring docket back without fixing the screws so you don't have to remove it again.
