    Changing to Short Shifter

    Hey guys,

If your changing your stock shifter to a short shifter. Will this affect your reverse lights turning on when putting into Reverse?

I've got an EK4 and have put in a skunk2 short shifter in it.
Recently somebody saw me Reversing and said my Reverse lights don't turn on.
I wasn't sure if it happend when I changed to the skunk2 shifter or if it happend AGESSSS AGO.

    thanks.

No it will not affect the reverse lights as all, your just changing the stick to one with a different length.

You sure you were properly in gear and your lights arent busted?

Isnt there a sensor to tell the lights it's in reverse?

Check for a loose cable or something.

Id double check all your fuses, because when my stereo died it ended up being a back up fuse under the hood. because you never know
