With 20 in the front and 40 in the rear, you should be able to run quicker times.
Along with any big rocks in your tyre tread. Remove it if you have the time.

This really only effects smaller tyres tho. I.e: 15"
The only advantage I got was a flatter contact patch because the tyre didnt bubble at the bottom with my 17's.
All in the launch imo.
If you can't launch for shit then your time will be shit.

Also dont panic!
LOL.
First run ever. Tried to copy the fully sick pro burnouts. Swaying the front side to side with e brake up. (really wasnt that hard) But with torque steer, if you dont hold the steering wheel it pulls the steering wheel to one side.
Silly me. My heart beating. People watching. Dude gives the signal for a burnout.
Spun the wheels. And my hand let go of the wheel. Car veers to the left and nearly hits the middle island thing where it seperates the 2 lanes. and there i am. All shaken with my foot still on the pedal, clutched in. Rev bouncing. And people lookin at me like .. wtf? LOL
So with shame. I staged up.
Rainbow lights go to green. Launched. Bogged and went.
Shifted 2nd. Crunched. -.-"
Lesson learnt. Hold the steering wheel really tight or use 2 hands.
Oh and i ran stockies 15" so the tyre pressure applies =D
And might i add another thing lol -.-"
Reason i bogged on launch. For the first timers. Its not pavement there. Probably is under 3inches of rubber. (exxageration).
But it really grips compared to tarmac where the wheels spin freely.
4grand rev dump 3/4 clutch engagement n it bogged.
A while back in late 2008 i went to a ozhonda meetup at wsid and ran my mates integra vtir for him, car was bone stock, and my friend actually forgot to run 98 octane and had put 91 in it.... The car was in full trim plus had his work eskie and heaps of other stuff in it, not even spare tyre removed
Car has half a tank of fuel and im about 90kgs
First 2 runs where shit as both runs i missed a gear for each and ran a 15.8 then a 15.7
Last run i managed to get all gears in with an ok luanch 2.35 sixty footer and done a 15.4@91mph.... Was bit dissapointed becoz i didnt get any other runs and on my first run i got a 2.300 sicty footer but then went from 2nd gear into 5th, and still done a 15.8
I reckon that night if i removed the spare tyre and rear seats and excess weight and had 98 ron, i could have managed a 15.0 no problems
Tyres were shit with 18psi in fronts
Stock suspension
6000rpm luanch ridng the clutch out a bit then jumping on the throttle quick
A good bone stock vtir with low psi in tyres and high rpm good luanches can easily manage low 15's
