all the big franchises in town like bob janes, beaurepaires, tyre power.

only place that would do it was the independent, and even they said it was

find a better place, they should not scratch you rims at all.

I would stick with a good street tyre if I were you because street driving is going to put lots of heat cycles on a set of softer race style tyres which will reduce their grip significantly. Try the new Bridgestone RE11 or the Dunlop Direzza Z1 which is a fair bit cheaper. Both are great tyres which should give decent wear on the street.

Yup those are good tyres, at least a match for the RE01R but I haven't seen any good comparisons with the RE11 yet. I don't know of anyone that sells them locally either, everyone I know that has them got them via tirerack .

Purchased a set of Maxxis Victra i-Pro's in 195/50/15
    Treadware: 240 Traction: AA Temperature : A

    Previous set were Toyo TGP's (x4), & Toyo T1-R's (F) Michelin Pilot HX MXV3A (R).

Was time for something different, (as well as new tyres) so will see how they are, once they wear in.
