effed up noises from ep3

hi guys i recently bought my ep3, and when i got it i did notice that when i turn the car on, when i down gear, change gear it sounds like the piping for the muffler are hitting the undercarriage of the car, directly under the drivers seat, it is a aftermarket pipe apparently so im hoping that is the problem and not my engine mounts.

i will be getting the car checked out by the dealership that i got it from.
just thought id get some sort of idea with what im dealing with.

any ideas?

what exhaust is yours?
I'm using full TODA system, and after I changed the flex pipe, this happens. the exhaust is touching and hitting ur chassis.

in my case, I need to lengthen my pipe, cos now its shorter than the original. and thats why it knocks.

rear mount is stffed lol, time to get new ones

is that a common noise for a rear mount?
i thought it was my exhaust touching also.... :s

Which dealer did you get your EP3 from? Yeah, might be the mounts. It's a common problem in EP3's.

yeah had to change my mounts, sounds very similar to what it sounded like, put it on a hoist and have a look at it, you will soon see if its the exhaust or mounts, im guessing mounts..

its my exhaust thats making the noise, the pipe was too high so they just need to relocate it.
